Changelog
An honest version-by-version log of what Splivo has shipped. No marketing flourish — just facts. Companion narrative to /about (mission honesty) and /security (technical honesty).
Section 1 — Premise
Splivo’s changelog is dated, honest, and substantive. We post what shipped when, with the actual commit, theme, and APK link — not a curated marketing reel. Splivo is in pre-v1.0 beta; ship pace will normalize post-v1.0. Cross-link /about for product story.

Section 3 — Major version inflections
- v0.1.0 — initial public preview. Local-first foundations + group expense splitting + basic invoicing surface.
- v0.2.0 — foundations + power-user features. Multi-currency, year-end CSV, partial-payment ledger, recurring invoices.
- v0.3.0 — data-layer milestone. Stripe + Resend scaffolds wired (env-gated). Quality Bar v0.3.x codified (Rules 1-4: web per ship + emulator per ship + coverage hard-floor + legal-cadence-mandatory).
- v0.4.0 — quality-bar codification milestone. Quality Bar v0.4.x supersession (Rules 1-5 + Candidate B scaffold). Performance-win-per-ship Rule 5 NEW. AGE-OUT reporting + USER-ACTION-QUEUE timeout NEW.

Section 5 — Quality Bar evolution
Splivo’s engineering discipline is codified as “Quality Bar” rules. Honest framing: rules ratify what worked, not what we wished worked.
- Rules 1-4 (codified at v0.3.0; sustained through v0.3.x): web improvement per ship; emulator BASELINE per ship; coverage hard-floor ≥90/80; legal-cadence-mandatory.
- Rule 5 NEW (codified at v0.4.0): Performance-win-per-ship. Every v0.4.x ship lands a measurable perf improvement (cold-boot, FPS, OCR latency, hydrate, TTI).
- Rule 6 RATIFIED (codified at v0.4.3): User-flow integration test per ship via Detox. Promoted from scaffold (v0.4.0) → first execution (v0.4.1) → second execution (v0.4.2) → third execution + RATIFIED (v0.4.3) → STEADY-STATE-CADENCE (v0.4.4).
Section 6 — Hotfix transparency
We ship hotfixes within 24h when crashes are user-reported. Honest log:
- v0.3.4 hotfix — boot-relaunch crash + Create Group hook-order crash. User-reported. Two critical fixes shipped same-day.
- v0.2.80 hotfix (prior, pre-Quality-Bar): partial-payment ledger overflow on rapid Pro upgrades. User-reported. Fix shipped within 24h.

Section 7 — Subscription to changelog
Email [email protected] if you want pre-launch ship-by-ship notifications. Honest callout: no email digest yet; the live URL is the canonical source. RSS feed (`/changelog.rss`) is on the post-v1.0 list, not yet live.
Section 8 — Cross-links

Splivo’s first major-version inflection. Stripe + Resend scaffolds wired (env-gated, NOT yet active). Year-end CSV with 1099-NEC threshold detection. Quality Bar v0.3.x codified with 4 rules (web improvement per ship + emulator BASELINE per ship + coverage hard-floor ≥90/80 + legal review at milestones). Emulator BASELINE captured as the reference for subsequent diff windows.

Quick Split UX bundle and persisted-state corruption guard — both long-flagged repeat-asks closed. Partial-payment support: Pro-gated at the 3rd payment per invoice.

APK launch-verify ship-gate guardrail mechanized. Year-end CSV i18n (US/UK/EU/CA thresholds). Triple-version emulator BASELINE-3 (first compare-back diff).

Partial-payment recipient-notify (local push + activity entry). Year-end CSV per-jurisdiction variants. /support page polish (48h response-time honesty). 9th LAUNCH-GATE skip with hard threshold v0.3.5 cited.

Section 3 — v0.3.5 → v0.3.6 sequence

Visual-review LIVE FIRST DISPATCH — libnspr4 unblocked, Branch A activated, 27-shot 9-route × 3-viewport matrix. Real prismatic-glass icon everywhere. Onboarding regression fix (business-step calls complete()). About page rewrite with honest chat-security callout.

Visual-review LIVE 2nd dispatch (Branch A AMBIENT cycle-1; auto-update baseline mechanism cycled for the first time). /security deeper-detail iteration. Holographic variant-g iconography deployed. iOS readiness discrete prep (eas.json scaffold + NSUsageDescription audit). APK auto-cleanup script (older-than-3-versions) per user feedback.
Section 4 — Quality Bar transparency
Every v0.3.x version follows the same four rules:
- 1 web improvement per ship. Each non-milestone version refines exactly one public web page.
- 1 emulator BASELINE capture per ship. Catch UI regressions before they reach you. The diff window expands one version at a time.
- Coverage hard-floor ≥90% statements / ≥80% branches, no grace. If a ship would push us below the floor, the ship is held until coverage recovers.
- Legal review at every milestone version + cadence triggers between. Privacy and Terms get re-reviewed when changes warrant, not only at major releases.
Section 5 — What’s next
v1.0 launch is gated on three things, each held until they actually clear:
- Apple Developer Program signup — required to publish on iOS. We have eas.json scaffolded; the build itself waits on the Apple cert.
- Production credentials drop — Stripe live keys + Resend API key. Both are env-gated scaffolds today; activation is automatic when the keys arrive.
- Final pre-launch audit — zero stub items remaining, release keystore generated, on-device OCR validated end-to-end.
We’re not committing to a date until those clear. You decide when to download an APK; we’ll keep posting versions and the honest log of what each one changed.
